Formed by three friends, two South African expats and one American, who met in Santa Barbara, all shared the conviction that they needed to share the riches of South African viticulture with American wine enthusiasts. These sustainably and dry-farmed vineyards of Swartland, one of the premier wine growing regions in South Africa, produce classically South African Cabernet Sauvignon, with smoke, coffee, plum, cherry, and red apple skin notes carried by lIghter tannins and lower alcohol. To further enhance the sustainability of their wines, the wines are shipped in flexi-tanks and bottled once they reach California, which reduces the wine’s carbon footprint by 40%. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the hand-picked grapes are fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel and neutral oak barrels for 6 months before being shipped. Perfect with a grilled burger or barbeque!
