Cantina Terlano celebrated its 125th anniversary with the 2017 vintage but the year’s frost and heat did not make it an easy one. The best vineyards show their greatness most in tough years, and this classic blend of Alto Adige grapes kept its reputation for quality intact. The 2017 Alto Adige Terlano Classico is a blend of 60% Pinot Bianco, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are slowly fermented in stainless steel and the wine ages partially in stainless steel (80%) with the remaining part in large oak barrels. On the nose, you get the typical aromas of green apples and white peaches along with nuances of lemon balm and mint.
