Started in 1989 by Chris Camarda and named after his son, Will, and nephew, Andrew, Andrew Will Winery is now one of the most acclaimed wineries in Washington. Will Camarda is now in charge of the winemaking, and unlike the exclusively single-vineyard bottlings of the rest of their lineup, the Involuntary Commitment bottling is a blend of Two Blondes and Champoux vineyards with a variable composition of Bordeaux grapes intended to be an affordable, everyday wine. The 2017 is 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 21% Merlot. Native yeast fermentation and native bacterial malolactic fermentation, no fining or filtering and aged in a neutral barrel--this wine is focussed on the varietal character of the grapes.
