The Bouzereau family has been making wine in Burgundy for nine generations and are very conscious that to pass on a vibrant, thriving set of vineyards is their most important objective. They fertilize only with organic compost and plow between the rows to control weeds. The domaine is centered in Meursault, with the fruit for this wine mainly coming from younger, declassified Meursault vines. This wine has the intensity and lemony acidity that Meursault is known for but at an extremely reasonable price. There is a hint of oak and buttered popcorn that pairs well with seafood and appetizers.
