Donkey and Goat are a husband and wife team of ‘natural’ winemakers from Berkeley whose unfiltered, no-additives and minimally-sulfured wines are somewhat hazy but never veer into the cidery, beery or just plain vinegary zones that so many natural wines fall into. These wines do present a touch of nuttiness and ginger that are characteristic of natural winemaking but these are just background accents to the full flavors of the fruit.
